    I <3 this tute :)

The way I use manic panic is to just take the violet and add it to straight conditioner (no virgin snow) until it is the shade you want. I think the virgin snow is a toner that is supposed to make the hair white so it might have cancelled out your color a little?

Wauw, staat je super! Is dit permanente haarverf of is dit er na een paar wasbeurten weer uit?

  5. Llucinxo says:

Really pretty. Too bad I have dark hair and my work wouldn’t allow me to have this haircolor (I would want pink so that’s even more of a NO!) xxx

  6. Veerle says:

  7. martina says:

    wow knap gedaan!

  8. Crissy says:

Use less virgin snow.. since it’s really light, you basically diluted your mixture 2x more. Use lots more conditioner next time!

    This color is really awesome!

  9. Dionne says:

    Staat je erg goed!

I’m from Alaska, and I’m now in Idaho (high desert) and the 100+ temperatures are KILLING ME during the summer. I feel your pain. I’m also feeling your hair (in the metaphorical, American slang sense, not the creepy literal sense)! It really looks lovely.

A couple of good ways to protect your hair from damage while swimming in pools:

1 – Saturate your hair with a really good, lipid-based conditioner first. This makes your hair supersoft, but unfortunately tends to gunk up pool filters, so there will be a bit more work involved in pool maintenance.

2 – Wet your hair really good with tap or bottled water before swimming, and it won’t absorb so much pool water.

3 – Wear swim cap. Totally not fashionable, but it makes your hair 100% pool-water proof. Extra points if you condition before putting the cap on.

Also, the green in your hair isn’t caused by chlorine (as many people believe). It’s caused by copper in the water, which oxidizes in your hair. If it’s your own pool, you should be able to test the levels of the metal in the water and adjust accordingly.

    Just a tip.
    1. use gloves. so ur hands do not get stained, or damaged.
And to get rid of green in ur hair. u have to use red. To neutralize the green, you need to use Red. Red is the complementary color to green :)
im a hairdresser apprentice :) Love ur videos.

  12. Dagmar says:

Wauw dat je dat durft! Zo gaaf resultaat, staat je super!

  13. Kim says:

That color looks awesome on you!

How long does the color stay? I’ve used Manic Panic about 5 years ago, but I had to re-dye my hair every 1 or 2 days.. I had to let go of my blue hair because keeping up the color took way too much time :(

  14. Joyce says:

I am going to the store today to buy the stuff needed to die my hair pastel lilac. I am basically going to bleach my hair first, use mini panic ultraviolet or mystic Heather, lots of conditioner, and let it sit on my hair is long as I can possibly stand it- one hours or more. But I think I’m going to try to do silver first: bleach hair white blond, use WELLA TONER #050, get a toner shampoo for upkeep, if I like it I will leave it for a little while, or I may put the pastel purple over it and have a Kelly Osbourne type thing going on. But this video was very helpful to me, and I’m glad I found your site. I will be back soon <3<3
