Artists like Pat McGrath & Alex Box have always inspired me like no other. Especially Alex Box has a way of making mesmerizing looks that you won’t forget quickly. Alex recently did a very awesome grungy, goth look where her model had drips of Black and Grey running down her face. It was love at first sight. Immediately I started to think of ways how she made those perfect rained down drops.
Then I stumbled upon the legend Rick Baker‘s new Halloween tutorial. And there it was. In his video he showed exactly how Alex had done it. I decided to use his technique in my new Halloween tutorial and came up with something sad, devastating and a little dash of goth. I hope you enjoy my “Sad Clown”.

Just finished watching this, loved it!
Wauw mooi!
Wow! That is amazing! I would personally do something different with the eyes, they look like they don’t match the rest of the face (does that make sense?) But I love this Halloween look!
Geweldig mooi gedaan!
Wauw! You really are a true artist! Beautiful! I just started a nail art blog, it’s really in it’s baby shoes, but maybe you guys could check it out, would mean the world to me:D But again, Nikkie this is amazing!

Hey, Nikkie…I love your makeup and your videos but I had to stop watching this one at 5:39. I don’t know how it is in the Netherlands but here in America that word is a transphobic slur…I think you meant to say “drag queen,” which is not a slur and would make sense in context.
Hi Helena, In fact you’re right. I had no idea, and all my intention of the word was the same as with Drag Queen. In all honesty, I thought the two were the same. My sincere apologies, as most of you know, I love my queens.
Great video I had to share with my circles. Great job! Nikki don’t sweat what Helena said. Also in America we have people that are just too $%^& serious and easily offended. Some of us in America didn’t even pay attention.
I was personally enjoying your video and your make-up teaching. Don’t apologize you were not being offense. In America now a days everything anyone says is offense GEEZ!
Nikkie Rocks!!! <333

Nikkie,
I always watch your makeup tutorials (one year now) but I never commented on any of the posts on your blog. I always visit your blog and enjoy reading through it. And I’m here to thank you for your great videos.
Love you loads.

Favourite Halloween look on YouTube (except for Joker ones, haha). :) I love how the face is so dark and then the eyes pop with the lighter colours.
