\nYesterday I had the marvelous idea to depot every single MAC Eyeshadow I have.
\n”Mehh, Will take me about 4 hours max!”<\/em> – I thought- …. OH HELL, WAS I WRONG!<\/span>
\nMy bestie texted, and came over later that night. As soon as she saw me in pain, she started helping me out.<\/p>\n

After 8,5<\/strong>(!!) hours we were done depotting every eyeshadow.
\nSo today I wanted to pamper her because without her, I’d\u00a0probably\u00a0still be depotting right now!<\/p>\n


\nI decided to do her hair and makeup! And why not combine it with a test on the new Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette?
\nI hadn’t tried it out yet, so this was the perfect\u00a0opportunity.<\/p>\n

Throughout this post I’ll tell you what I think of the Naked 2 just a little bit. Because I still have a video Review planned on it!<\/p>\n

\nMeet my bestie: Lisanne! :)
\nOK, Without further ado here are the products I used:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nFace:<\/em><\/span><\/strong>
\nOn Lisanne’s face I first applied some hardcore\u00a0moisturizer, since her skin was dry.
\nI used Dermalogica Super Rich Repair<\/em><\/span>. After that I started perfecting her -already beautiful- skin.
\nI started out with M.A.C Face and Body Foundation in C1<\/em><\/span> – I love this foundation because it’s so\u00a0build-able.
\nFor\u00a0under eye concealer I used a mixture of Makeup Studio Liquid Concealer Pen #1<\/em><\/span> &
\nIllamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation RF133<\/em><\/span>.\u00a0 I set this all with my Kryolan Translucent Powder<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Cheeks:<\/em><\/span><\/strong>
\nOn Lisanne’s cheeks I used M.A.C Cream Colour Base ”Mid-Tone Sepia”<\/span><\/em> as a contour.
\nAfter that I went over that with M.A.C Powder Blush in ”Shadowy”<\/span><\/em> and added warmth with Benefit Bronzer ”Hoola”<\/em><\/span>.
\nOn the tops of her cheekbones, bridge of nose and\u00a0cupids bow,\u00a0I used Guerlain ”Cruel Gardenia” Highlighting Powder<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\nEyes:<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nAs always, I started off with a layer of M.A.C Paint Pot in ”Soft Ochre”<\/em><\/span>.
\nThen I mapped out the basic shape I wanted for this look with my Illamasqua Medium Pencil in ”Fidelity”<\/em><\/span>.
\nI applied that as an eyeliner and in the crease, then blended it out.<\/p>\n

Then I turned to the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette<\/em><\/span>, and used the following colors:<\/p>\n

\nBusted:<\/em><\/span> Applied to outer half of the lid, Crease and Outer corner of lower lid.
\nVerve:<\/em><\/span> On the inner half of the lid, as a lid color.
\nBootycall:<\/em><\/span> Browbone highlight.
\nTease:<\/em><\/span> Used as blending color from crease to browbone.
\nSnakebite:<\/em><\/span> Lower lid<\/p>\n

Now comes my biggest ”thing” with the Naked 2 Palette. There are only two matte colors in this.
\nThis is a big downer for Makeup Artists. When working on a shoot, you need depth because flash photography
\nblows away so much shadow. With this palette you’ll only have 2 matte shadows that won’t reflect.<\/p>\n

So for this look also I had to turn to my freshly depotted MAC Palette:<\/p>\n

\nI used MAC\u00a0Eyeshadow\u00a0in ”Cork”<\/em><\/span> to blend out the crease even more. ”Tease” was a little too mauve-ish for me.
\nAlso I wanted to darken things up, but without shimmer. for that I used MAC Eyeshadow in ”Spiced Chocolate”<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

And that’s it for all the shadows. For eyeliner on the waterline I used
\nBen Nye Neutralizer Creme Crayon \u201dRed Concealer No.1′<\/em><\/span>\u00a0<\/em>And Bourjois Volume Fast& Perfect Mascara<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\nLips:<\/em><\/span><\/strong>
\nFirst I outlined Lisanne’s lips with MAC Lippencil in ”Stone”<\/span><\/em> to make the lips appear fuller.
\nThen on top Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipstick #010 ”Be Natural!”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a>
\nAnd that completes Lisanne’s ”Natural Smoke” Makeup Look! :) :)<\/p>\n

For her hair I just curled sections with my CHI Curling Iron (biggest size)<\/em><\/span> – and then clipped them up, to let ’em
\ncool off in the curl shape. After some teasing, brushing the curls out for a soft wave and lots of hairspray,
\nthis is what came out:<\/p>\n
